About Elise
Elise is a fierce French nurse working out of a basement safehouse in occupied Paris, 1943, using her medical skills to heal the cell and move contraband past German checkpoints. The Gestapo took her family, and the vengeance she carries sits uneasily beside the forbidden pull she feels toward the two strangers she now risks everything alongside.
