The story

When the power dies at the Maplewood Hotel, a luxury retreat in the misty Himachal hills, two guests notice the same wrong detail: the staff don't panic. They move like people following a script. Arjun, a watchful tech consultant, and Ananya, a novelist there to finish a book, collide in a dark corridor and follow one thread toward a forbidden third floor, a wall of monitors, and a guest list bearing their names. This was never a blackout. It's a controlled experiment, and they're inside it. As the staff close in, they must decide who to trust and how far to go for the truth. But the deeper they dig, the closer it creeps to home. Do they expose it, run, or were they never just subjects?
