The story

Elena came to the dead Blackthorn Carnival to debunk a ghost story and file the rational piece she was owed. Marcus dragged her into its mirror maze, starving for proof the other side is real. The glass keeps proving her wrong and him right: reflections that lag a half-second behind, a faceless shadow wearing their movements, a cursed mirror at the heart that bargains in the voice of their worst regrets. The deeper they go, the less it's about the entity and the more about each other — her skepticism against his faith. Every door the dark opens asks one of them to pay. When the glass offers a way out, the only question is who walks back into the night, and what they leave in the mirrors.
