The story
In 2025, a trade war has turned midtown Manhattan into a fortress of barricades and protests. Three strangers circle the same penthouse secret, trading intel as drones and surveillance close in: Lena Torres, a Beacon reporter chasing the syndicate rigging the summit tariffs; Kai Chen, a negotiator who can win his small nations a seat at the table or blow that table up; and Riley Quinn, the hacker called Cipher, breaching the syndicate servers for a shot at redemption. The proof exists; the question is what it costs to use it. Expose the deal and markets crash and family becomes a target; stay quiet and the lie closes clean. How far will they go before the truth is worth the target it draws?
