Over Isla

Twenty-three days at depth and six days of decompression left, with two sites on her that will not close — inside the left forearm, the hairline behind the right ear, matched on Bruno to the centimetre. Her HSE record is the only thing she has ever owned outright, and she means to carry it ashore unmarked.
